Summary
“In the spring,” Wei Ying says, “I’ll be dangerous.” Lan Zhan lifts an eyebrow. “More dangerous than usual.”
Lan Zhan is not stupid. Wei Ying has sharp teeth and sharp claws. His appendages are brutally powerful. He realized long ago, right from the start, that Wei Ying had been responsible for the death of several people. Still. He can’t help but feel that Wei Ying had been justified.
He is not cruel-hearted. He would not kill on purpose—not unless the other party had done something obscenely offensive.
Lan Zhan wanders into a cove that he's been warned not to enter and gets a whole lot more than he bargained for.
