Tony had always had problems with paternity lawsuits. There was always one woman after another who claimed that he was the father of a child Tony had never seen before.
That's why Tony had a part of his company dedicated to doing DNA tests to deny it. And, after hundreds of negatives, Tony Stark did not believe he was capable of having children. That was until the only positive thing happened.

But she had not contacted him because she wanted money or to be recognized. She had contacted him because she was sick and she needed his help.
