The lovely prompt I chose to depict was Sailor/Mermaid AU:
Merman LWJ rescues sailor WWX from the water during a bad storm. There is a magic item - necklace which per my giftee’s wishes would let WWX breathe underwater, which would be a fun change from the mermaid coming onto land story trope (such a great idea! I instantly loved it!). I decided to take it a step further and give WWX a pendant which can turn him into a merman, so he can join LWJ in his home turf heh :D
Thank you for the lovely prompt! This piece was very challenging, as the concept I sketched out was very complex from the beginning, with the three scenes in the picture and whatnot, but it is so satisfying to see the result! I had a lot of fun with sailor(-turns-merman) WWX and merman LWJ!
