The next couple of days have been the same. Wake up, be forced to take meds, eat breakfast, do nothing, eat lunch, do nothing, eat dinner, and guess what? Do nothing. Her knees haven’t gotten any better, but they’ve also not gotten worse. She’s basically bed ridden until they stop hurting.

Nancy scoffs, “what are you on about?”
Max takes a step closer, Robin immediately gets in between the two. “You know exactly what I mean.” Max throws her hands out before letting them flop to her sides. “Don’t worry everyone! We don’t have to worry about the little Beth problem because Nance fixed it for us.” She hisses.

Max sits down, the silence slowly eating her away. “Do you ever wanna just… runaway?” She asks, the words leaving her mouth before she could even properly think about them. Robin perks up, looking over at her. Max looks away, “I’m sorry, that’s a dumb thing to ask.” She deflects.
“No it’s not.” Robin says with such confidence that Max looks at her, seeing a sort of understanding in her eyes.
