Summary
Professor Lucifer Morningstar, a scholar of American literature, treasured one book above all others. In his bleakest hours, that story had been his lifeline, reminding him that every soul is worthy of a second chance.
Its title was The Hazbin Hotel.What Lucifer could not possibly have known, however, was that the man with whom he had—much against his will—recently become acquainted, a certain Alastor who delighted in belittling his favourite novel and his taste in literature, was in fact the very author of that book.

Lucifer va tres días a la semana a una cafetería modesta - la que consideraba como un refugio - a leer y pasar el rato. Ese día, decidió leer nuevamente su historia favorita 'The Hazbin Hotel' de su misterioso autor favorito Al D'Orleans, sin saber que esa persona era el hombre que se sentaba a su lado a escribir en su iPad.
¿Será capaz de descubrir su identidad? ¿se dejará Alastor descubrir por el profesor de literatura?

The demon looks him over thoughtfully. "Remind me, where are we again?"
Well, Lucifer has a vague idea of that at least. "Uh, Hell?"
He nods as if that confirms something for him. "And who am I?"
"My husband?" Lucifer asks hopefully, not really thinking through the ramifications of being wrong. He's never been great at filtering his thoughts before they spill out of his mouth.
A faint blush tinges the other demon's cheeks as his brows furrow. He seems frozen, but there's still a smile, so Lucifer must have come to the right conclusion!

Lucifer makes an assumption and Alastor, shockingly, goes along with it. Now that his memories are back, Lucifer is determined to figure out why the demon didn't correct him when he had the chance. Surely there are nefarious reasons at play, right?

Lucifer le enseña a Alastor que estar en pareja no es solo sexo, también existen momentos en los que miras a tu amado y todo lo que quieres hacer es besarlo. Ver la reacción del pelirrojo ante la falta de cualquier acto sexual le hace preguntarse si tuvo alguna pareja decente antes de él o si alguna vez tuvo pareja, si llegara a ser la segunda no le importaría enseñarle lo que significa estar en una relación.

The blonde runs a hand through his hair and finally moves from the spot against the wall. Within a couple of steps, he was at the edge of the alleyway. His red eyes focused on the two figures.
He could feel the stickiness of the blood under his feet as he walked out of the alley. He was almost disgusted with himself. If only he hadn't caught the subtle glance the brunette-haired male cast his way.
"Finally. Looks like someone finally came to pick up the trash." Lucifer says, staring down at the browned haired male. He knew that the other was trying to ignore him.
If only that were possible.

A Lucifer se le encarga la tarea de hallarlo y convencerle de volver pero será difícil, sobre todo por esos 7 años en los que no hubo ni rastro de él. Alastor doesn't care for his second gender--second genders in general. He doesn't like not feeling in control of his body, his mind.

He has had one rut, and that was all he was ever going to have as far as he was concerned.
Lucifer on the other hand is extremely confident in his second gender, and knowing creation inside and out, sees everyone's instincts as necessary....everything is just...biology. How they were created. So, why is Alastor so against it all?

Lucifer no puede entender ¿por qué Alastor reprime tanto su lado alfa que ni siquiera puede sentir su olor? así que decide enfrascarse en la tarea de descubrirlo pero. . . quizás sea demasiado para manejar si los sentimientos se interponen en el camino y en eso será Alastor quien le ayude, irónicamente.
