His head snapped around as he scanned for where the noise had come from, then once he’d found him the stranger slowly sat up from his sprawl on the ground. He tucked one knee beneath an elbow as he turned to face him fully and lifted a hand to remove his sunglasses. He stared over the pond at him, unnervingly still once more.
And said nothing.
