Summary
In another timeline, Shane and Ilya hook up in room 1410, nothing goes wrong, and everything plays out exactly as we know it.
In this one, Yuna Hollander walks in before Ilya can leave—and the seven-year situationship never gets the chance to start. Instead, through the power of miscommunication, Shane and Ilya start dating in 2010. With better support, they make better decisions. Their rivalry fizzles out before it ever has the chance to fully ignite, replaced instead by a beloved “bromance". In 2015, they come out to the NHL and the world.
No one believes them.
Or: Somehow, despite Shane and Ilya being out for two years, Scott Hunter is still considered the first openly gay player in the NHL, much to Ilya’s horror.

Summary
Shane is unafraid (read: actually terrified) to say people who make out in public are disgusting. This goes for everyone, but it just so happens that he’s caught high-key judging a gay couple.
Now everyone thinks he’s homophobic.
Fuck his life.

Summary
— Do you know what you need? — Rose interrupted, resting her elbows on the table. — A boyfriend they hate.
— What?
— I'm serious. Think about it. Imagine their faces if you showed up at home with an alpha they'd never seen before, without asking anyone's "opinion" — she said, making air quotes with her fingers. — And on top of that, one with all the characteristics they hate. They'd be furious, but they'd have to swallow it. It would be perfect revenge.
— You forgot just one tiny detail: I don't have a boyfriend. And even if I did, unfortunately my taste is very similar to theirs. If they hate him, I probably will too.
Rose took another sip of her coffee, observing him over the cup with that expression Shane knew all too well.
— And who said it has to be real?
— No. Absolutely not.
Or: The one where Shane's alpha sisters are a bit controlling because he's the only omega in the family, and so he starts a fake relationship with Ilya just to annoy them.

Summary
"Tomorrow is broken. Tomorrow is nowhere."
A year has passed since the Phantom Thieves struck down a god and saved Tokyo from a terrible fate. But when people all over the globe begin to suffer from "Paranoia Syndrome," mysterious seizures which leave them contorted and unconscious, Akira Kurusu finds himself in the Velvet Room once more, demanding answers for the affliction. His investigation leads him to the Dead Sea, the rotted remnants of the cognitive world, where all things go to be forgotten - including someone the Thieves had thought to be long gone.
Meanwhile, Akira's comatose body is found in the waking world, and his terrified friends suspect the worst. Akira's confidants struggle to learn the truth behind Paranoia Syndrome, while he and Goro Akechi approach a fated confrontation in the decaying shell of the cognitive Tokyo. As the sickness continues to spread, the Phantom Thieves must reunite and destroy the evil festering beneath the Dead Sea's waters, before its malignant influence unravels civilization forever.
