“Yes,” Jungkook says. His lips remain parted, and Jimin’s frosty irritation warms, thaws, melts, pooling somewhere low in his belly. His grip in Jungkook’s shirt tightens.
“And if I tell you to get me a drink, you’ll do it.” It’s not a question–but then again, Jimin hadn’t even had to ask, earlier, had he? He hadn’t had to ask Jungkook to bring him that beer, he’d simply done it.
“Yeah,” Jungkook breathes.
“And if I tell you to drive me and my friends to class, and do my homework, and clean my room, and get my dinner, you’ll do that too.”
“Yeah,” Jungkook says again. His face is pink, his mouth open, eyes half closed. His voice is barely audible over the thumping bass of the frat basement's soundsystem, and he’s swaying, just a little bit, like he can’t quite stay upright even on his knees.
“That’s right,” Jimin says, fighting against the urge to touch Jungkook’s cheeks, to feel the heat of his blush, hold him still a little. “What an excellent pledge.”
He holds up the shot glass in front of Jungkook’s face.

His eyes dart across the text printed on it, then he tosses it aside, reaching instead for the box itself and flipping it over, unbothered when the last couple of chocolates tumble out unceremoniously onto the counter.
Jimin goes stock-still, silent for a long moment.
“Huh.” He sets the box back down, blinking slowly at it. Giving one solid, firm nod, he confirms, “Looks like there’s catnip in those.”

Jimin learns the hard way not to take what isn't his, and Jungkook gets brought along for the ride. Who would have thought that a few chocolates and some roses would get them here? Not Jungkook, that's for sure, but he certainly isn't complaining—not when it means he finally gets to tell Jimin how he feels.
