Tom is just trying to enjoy his well-deserved Head Boy appointment when his silly Mum barges into his room, forgetting all her manners and ruining an otherwise glorious moment. She's brandishing some sort of potion that Tom does not recognise because he's damn sure it's not anywhere in the Potions syllabus for sixth years and lower. It might be in the seventh year textbook but he hasn't had the chance to take a look at that, yet. So, really, he has no idea why she's being hysterical.
Then, she reveals that she's gone through his trunk.
Without permission.
The audacity.

Tom Marvolo Riddle is Merope Gaunt's just deserts.
Tom Joseph Riddle has a son?? Even though he's... well... gay?? (How did that--)
And Harry Potter doesn't really need Amortentia to love Tom Marvolo Riddle. He could drink it if Tom really wants him to but he isn't sure what difference it would make. He already loves Tom pretty obsessively and-- Why are you laughing, Babe? I'm serious. I already feel like chewing off the arm of anyone who touches you. You really need me to obsess more? Tom? Tom? Summary
Krypton is gone. Just--- It’s vanished! Kal and his trusty stow-away, Bruce Wayne, are on the case. In the meantime, they acquire a child, somehow, become broke, become mercenaries, and a plethora of other things. Dammit, this is not what Kal signed up for.
As Kal watched Bruce scale the ladder up to the shivering Kolro child, he mused that he really should have left the Terran behind on Earth to deal with his own problems. Honestly, in the time since Bruce had stowed away on Kal's ship and this current moment, he had done nothing but bring trouble to the Kryptonian. If he weren’t so smart or Kal wasn’t so convinced Bruce was the key to finding the missing Krypton, Kal would have seriously charted a course back to Earth and dropped him back to deal with his people's ire.

Summary
In a different world, where everything happens slightly later, Harry is born in the 2000s and never receives his Hogwarts letter. He lives life like a normal muggle until on his 17th birthday, he's kicked out by the Dursley's. But on his way to crash at a friend's, he gets a different type of crash. As in a bus hitting him.
He wakes up in an odd looking hospital and oddly dressed people. Turns out he's been transported to the 1940s, and not only that, but magic is real!
Because of legal issues he doesn't pay attention to, he's shipped off to Hogwarts with a vague backstory and left to fend for himself, hopefully not breaking up the timeline in the process.or
Gen z Harry Potter dumped into the 1940s wizarding world and he's going to make it everyone's problem.

He lowered his head, intent to kiss him. Harry almost let him, wanting nothing more than to feel his lips one last time before falling asleep, but he stopped him at the last moment.
“Wait.”
He drew in a deep breath. He rubbed his wrists where the shackles no longer were, bare and exposed skin, his magic free.
“I… have to tell you something.”

Summary
It seems laughable now to think that he could ever have been destined for more than this. From a boy so lucky to be alive they gave him a lofty title to match, to the supposed savior of humanity, to tawdry spoils of the very war he lost. It is a new kind of bravery Harry must hold onto these days, if he is to get through this with any of his sanity or self-respect left intact.
He won't just give up on living though, on hope. Somebody has to be here, after all, to take care of the girl, so if not for himself, then he'll at least do it for her. He can suffer any indignity thrown his way if it means that just one child born into this endless, bitter cycle of longing and loathing will grow up loved.
Sometimes, a ray of sunshine will break through the storm clouds even when it's always raining.
