To be perfectly honest, Mira finds her nauseating. Always has.
Of course she should have expected to see Rumi here, seeing her again now sparking the memory that Celine had adopted her as a baby and raised her after her mother died.
Her excitement to be here wanes a bit upon the realization that she will be working with and basically living with Little Miss Perfect from now on.
(Mira is recruited to train as a potential member of a new idol group and to become a demon hunter, and has to put up with a certain purple haired rival who's better than her at everything. Will eventually lead to Polytrix)

Summary
Marina has a strange dream, then gets a mysterious letter from her father stating that her mother has died. She sets off to her home town of Prehevil for answers, unaware she's being followed. Her obsessed stalker, Samarie, follows her on the train to Prehevil, where the two of them along with twelve others find themselves trapped in a city full of nightmares, monsters and cruel gods. They have to find a way to escape or at least survive for the next three days. After a tragic first meeting, the two girls start to grow unexpectedly close despite the horrific circumstances.
A very, very long, Samarina focused, passion project that took me roughly six months to write, adapting my playthrough of Fear and Hunger 2: Termina into a second person narrative, switching points of view between Marina and Samarie each chapter. Samarina as a ship is the main focus but the original story of the game is also important and present. At roughly 175k words, it was a lot of work for my first real writing project but, I think I've done a decent job.

Summary
Rumi’s drowning. They could see it, and yet life moved on like normal. But she still struggled, until one night when it was only her and Zoey left in the house. It happened so fast, without warning.. and Zoey had to be the one to keep her afloat.
Rumi was so impossibly mad at herself.
For wanting to do it, for not doing it, no one answer was going without her breaking down, eating her alive.
“Don’t let me go…” Rumi sounded afraid. So genuinely afraid, that it shook Zoey to the core as she tightened her hold on Rumi in reflex to the desperate plea. It was just them.. Zoey had to do this, she had to be strong for the both of them. She was petrified, blinking back the tears in her eyes and cradling her lover gently.
“I’m not.. I promise.”
Mira had never answered a call faster at midnight.

“I love you, Celine.”
The words tumbled out of her gracelessly, but so so sweetly. She waited, and all the while, that little balloon grew and grew, the plastic skin of it stretching and thinning with every second before—
“You too,” Celine said back.
‘Pop.’
“Celine,” Rumi tried again, voice shaking as tears she didn’t even know she still had left to shed began to drip down her left cheek. “Celine, I said I love you.”
