Hermione was always a lonely child. She knew her parents didn't understand her, and the muggle kids were always so slow and dull and mean. She knew what parents and friends and family was supposed to be like and this wasn't it. Hogwarts was better- there was magic! But there was still something missing.
Luna had always been alone, but that was alright she knew they would come, she just had to wait, just a little bit longer...
In which Severus Snape was happily married to the dark lords nephew. And said dark lord had killed his husband and children. But Tom wasn't the only Riddle who seemingly rose from the grave. And this time... Well someone should have told Voldemort not to mess with a hardened warrior, a prodigal lion and a vengeful seer.

Shane Hollander is a man who thrives on structure, routine, the solid ground of a ten-year plan. Ilya likes that about him, likes the embracing squeeze of having a life organized in tandem with Shane.
No one would call Ilya a man who thrives on structure. But it’s there, if not in his DNA then in the patterns of his brain. A call-and-response of: they do this, I do that.
When Ilya’s life is flayed open for the world to dissect, how will they push-and-pull their way back towards what was once a well-organized life?
“I thought we could go through the schedules and figure out what days we’ll be in the same cities this season, or when either of us have a couple of days off in a row. Maybe make a shared calendar, so we c—”
“A sex calendar? Your parents are arriving in thirty minutes, and you are proposing making a sex calendar?” Oh, this was delicious. He’d be able to eat out on this for years, if Shane was willing to give him that long.
“It’s not a sex calendar! It’s just … when we might be able to see each other,” he finished, already sounding defeated.
“And what are you planning on doing when we are seeing each other? Not fucking?”

So, instead of deciding to re-do his childhood But Better, he decides that this whole Mortal Hero thing is just NOT for him. So, instead, he decides to do as his kind-of-sibling Nereus does, and become a Hermit. Hell, he even makes his Mortality burn away faster than it had in the Before, so he CAN'T become the Child of Prophesy this time!
His plan is absolutely foolproof!

Tim has been dating Kon forever at this point and has come out as polyamorous. Trouble was, he never said exactly who he was dating besides from Kon. Cue various bat members stumbling on Kon and Jason together, and instead of asking Tim or Jay what’s going on, or even asking Kon the same thing with a bit of tact, they immediately jumped to the conclusion that Kon was cheating on Tim with Jason and tried to forcefully expose Kon’s transgressions, in increasingly ludicrous situations, culminating in a family intervention. Guess it was time to come clean, right?

Sometimes Kon thought the bats had a bad rap when it came to communication. Most days, Jason and Tim tried to communicate with each other and with Kon, so he didn’t really see where the poor reputation came from. But he got why so many people in the superhero community have vocally expressed they wanted to strangle several members of the bat crew now.
