I´m so tired of needing help to exist. And at the same time, I feel guilty for being able to do so. Shouldn´t I be sadder? More … broken? More unable to exist, without him? I´m doing, well, not splendid, but okay, I guess. [...] There are so many things I should have said, and asked and done. And now I will never get to do them, and I have still not choked to death on them. How dare I?
John is trying to cope with Sherlocks death, until... Sherlock is suddenly not dead anymore. How will their reunion go? And how will they deal with the consequences that their time apart has had on both their lives? And do they want to go back to how things were before or are there maybe aspects to their relationship that the never cared to discover before?

Summary
When Rögnvald leaves the oppressive enclosure of living with his disapproving family and community, he sets out on a travel through the Wilderness of middle-age Norway. Alone with nature around him, he learns to listen to the voices of the forest around him and trust his instincts and intuition. He makes it through a beautiful summer and a tough winter, but questions start to plague him when the loneliness of his solitary life becomes more and more of a burden. Is he cursed to only find shelter away from other people? Will he never belong anywhere but the solitude of the forest?
Set in the universe of my other story "The Saga of Rögnvald Rettilbeina", but can be read without the context

Summary
Castiel realized that he was in love with Dean Winchester on a normal Thursday morning after a hunt. It didn´t hit Castiel like a freight train. His world didn´t tilt off its axis. The piece of knowledge just snapped into place, and he had to admit to himself that it wasn´t news of any kind. And there was nothing he could do about it. So, he just tilted his head and accepted it as his reality.
Castiel´s feelings towards Dean throughout the series. Can be read as canon compliant, but doesn´t have to. This is sad, ye be warned!!

“I can’t force it,” Simon argued. “You gotta open it slowly or you’ll damage something. It needs lubrication.”
That sure shut Ryland up. God, why did the terminology for all of this have to be so charged? Ryland tried hopelessly to take a deep breath and fix his glasses, but the air was too hot and heavy for both actions. He watched as Simon took out a cotton swab and applied a thin layer of lubricant to the ring.
“Once I get the old one out, this should slip right in,” Simon said, returning to poking and prodding at the thing.
“Jesus…” Ryland blurted, chest tightening at the words.
4 times they got riled up + 1 time they actually did something about it.

“I don’t know if I can sleep,” Grace admitted, tersely. “I can’t get these theories out of my head, even if half of them don’t make any sense. I want to sleep—heck, I want to stop for a bit, take a break maybe—but I just can’t.”
The pad of Simon’s thumb roved over his cheekbone thoughtfully. Then, “Would you like to go down? Do you think that would help?” he asked.
Grace hesitated for a moment, eyes flitting between Simon’s face and the empty space over his left shoulder. “I… yeah. Um. Maybe that would… help. I think that would help.”
Inspired by the filament station discord discussing how Grace can sometimes suffer from problamatic levels of hyperfixation. combine that with his known oral fixation and Simon's need to take care of the man who takes care of him and, well. very sweet cockwarming ensues.
