Summary
At the end of Devil of My Word, what if Chloe wasn't unconscious when Lucifer protected her with his wings. And his wings were much more damaged? Pierce is still alive, which creates a much larger, ongoing problem, forcing Chloe and Lucifer into hiding with the Sinnerman network hunting them. When the threat reaches their friends as well, they have to work as a group to bring down the first murderer.

Lucifer unintentionally reveals his full devil form to Chloe very early on, before they're even official partners. Meanwhile, God has been plotting to pay a visit to either clear things up or stir them up.
They're also in the middle of a terrible drought and a heat wave, and Northern California is on fire.
