John saves a young dragon from drowning after another knocks it unconscious above the Thames. In response the enigmatic creature begins to follow him everywhere, either in human or dragon form, even to war in Afghanistan. When John begins to change because of the creature he is strangely relieved.
This story is dedicated to Fanomy, who inspired me to keep going- and keep thinking- when I would rather have trashed the whole darn thing. I may not be anything close to Sherlock, but you are definitely a conductor of light.

Summary
Hans Capon knows that to be a true knight, he must fell a malevolent dragon. Every knight in the books he has read as a child has had this one common trait. If Hans can fell his own beast of hell, maybe then Hanush would see that he is fit to be the Lord of Rattay, a title dangled so teasingly in front of him. Dragons, however, are rare. There hasn’t been a sighting of one in such a long time that Hans is slowly beginning to lose hope.
That is until one day a mysterious old crone comes to the castle, demanding an audience with Hanush and Hans. She exclaims that a dragon has returned, last seen haunting the woods near the ruins of Skalitz. Hans finally gets his chance, jumping at the bit to prove to Hanush that he is knight worthy of the title Lord of Leipa. Reluctantly, Hanush lets Hans take a small retinue of the most skill combatants to go and slay the dragon.
Hans is simply not prepared for what this dragon actually is.

John-117 spent four years fighting insurrectionists across UNSC controlled space, only to be bundled into cryo and told he has a new objective; guard a UNSC camp on an alien planet, under the watchful gaze of the Vadam people, and the higher ups who are already furious with him for failing his last mission. (A mission that cost John-117 more than his rank).
Somehow, somewhere along the line, John-117 stops being John-117; stops becoming ‘the human’, and just becomes ‘John.’ He moves into the local town without meaning too and, somehow, becomes the local babysitter.
It’s only when Thel ‘Vadam, Kaidon of the Vadam region, returns from meetings at the capital that John realises how deep he is in this new life. It’s suddenly made worse by the fact that this Thel is somehow head over heels in love with him.
”Honestly,” Kelly tells him, “Only you, John.”
OR, An exploration of worldbuilding for Sangheili culture, a ‘what if the war never happened/happened very differently’ AU, and what if John-117 is somehow great with children.

After promising not to bring another demon into his home, the marauder saves his life and he repays the demon by letting him crash in the Fortress of Doom, but perhaps they are more than just roommates…
Now the Slayer has to juggle his endless crusade and his new family while fighting the Icon of Sin and the Ancient Gods that hold his leash.
(This is fairly canon compliant with the lore/story of Doom and it goes through Doom Eternal’s story and both of the Ancient Gods DLCs. There will definitely be references to Doom: The Dark Ages, but since that takes place like nine million years before Eternal it won’t be the primary focus. I hit most of the main beats of the story, but I do deviate a bit with some of the plot lines for Vega and Samuel Hayden.)

After the Arbiter helps Miranda Keyes and Sergeant Johnson to halt the Halo's firing sequence, he swears to protect them from the Covenant as they fight to reach the Ark. However, he finds he is unprepared for the political struggles and moral dilemmas that follow from rejecting the religion and laws he had followed since birth. As he fights to gain ground, he encounters a strange conspiracy involving the Prophet of Truth and an aspiring Hierarch: the Prophet of Justice. Meanwhile, an Unggoy (Grunt) risks his life when he tries to do the right thing and inadvertently ends up becoming a pivotal figure.
This fanfic was outlined a year after Halo 2 came out in anticipation of Halo 3 and was written as an idea of what Halo 3 could end up like. Halo works released before Halo 3, such as the graphic novel, made it not canon-friendly before Halo 3 ever came out. It should be considered as an alternate universe.
Note that the warning about rape pertains to repeated mention and threat, but rape isn't outright depicted.

Summary
A series mainly centered on the universe of HALO, incorporating canon and fannon elements of games, books and more. Written from an anthropology POV, the series often deals with concepts of custom differences, traditions, identity and more. It tends to hit hard topics like mental health, loss of identity, death and other things but seeing that this initially starts out with a game based in futuristic cosmic horror and war, it's par for the course.

Summary
The Arbiter's initial studies of human culture didn't happen after the Great Schism; he's figured out things about their species through long observation and plenty of patience. He'll acknowledge their new alliance gives him plenty of resources to fall back on when he doesn't understand something. Frankly, he doesn't get a LOT of the customs these people have.
But it's good to increase his knowledge: as a curious Sangheili, he has many burning questions, ones he's harbored for years that ought to be answered at long last. There's only one problem he's got no hope of fixing.
See, he REALLY wishes he could figure out if this 'bond' with his enemy-turned-ally is purely platonic, or he's instigated a serious courtship between them. Chief is being rude in not clearing up the matter but then again, the Arbiter is kind of shitty at clarifying what his questions are.
Misunderstanding is in plenty but were it so easy to understand one another's intentions, then they'd never learn how to become each other's equal.

My first attempt at making a long, multichapter story like this. Just wanted to have some fun writing this kind of story.
My goal is to make a wholesome story between a Xenomorph and a human following a strangers to friends to something more kinda format. I plan to make this a slow building relationship but eventually making them lovers. Yes, this is considered just Mature, but there is explicit smut for these characters based after this story titled 'Among the Stars'.
Thomas is a lead engineer stationed on a medium sized research base on the space frontier. He enjoys his job and things are simple until one day he was called in for some repairs which led to an unlikely meeting. Battling lies told to him, moral predicaments, and more Thomas must make hard decisions for what he believes is right. However, some people don't have as kind of a heart as him.Series
