I miss him. The words slip off my lips, fluttering in the sickly humidity of my damp bedroom. I’ve wiped my eyes dry, and no tears left for me to cry. That shouldn’t be allowed, and I shouldn’t care for a dead man. I shouldn’t miss him, nor deserve to miss him after every spite-filled word that's left my audacious chops. Every unjustified punch thrown his way, after every horrid shriek I hurled his way. Maybe I did deserve to lose him, and this is my punishment for being a stain on society.
