“This is James T. Kirk of the ISS Enterprise, on a mission of exploration for the Terran Empire. Why have you detained us?”
“Detained?” the female voice sounded surprised. “I merely kept you from drifting past. Have you not been adrift on the astral winds for many weeks seeking shelter?”
“Not exactly,” Jim said dryly. “We have engines. Our ship is fully under our control.”
“Your ship design is not familiar to me,” she confessed. “Please, dock, and we shall speak further. I wish to give you shelter and rest.”
“A kind offer of hospitality, miss…?” Jim trailed off expectantly.
“Aphrodite.”
“Miss Aphrodite.” Jim exchanged a glance with Spock over the name.
The pink energy drew the ship into orbit and then faded to a background corona. Jim had no illusions that they were free to leave.--------------
In the Mirrorverse version of "Who Mourns For Adonais?" Mirror Kirk, Spock, and McCoy have a rare opportunity to explore their new relationship while being captives of an alien being claiming to be an Ancient Greek love goddess. Spock is more concerned with escaping as quickly as possible. The rest of the ISS Enterprise's crew seem far too comfortable with exploring love and passion.

Summary
Tony chuckles, takes the bar spoon out of his glass, plops three cherries on top, and screws the lid back on the jar. “Relax, Peter. This is Deadpool. You really think he’ll get himself in trouble he can’t get himself back out of? Y’know, part of a good relationship is trust.” He casually walks the jar of cherries back into the refrigerator, then sits down at the bar and takes an obnoxious sip of his Shirley Temple. “Ah. That’s the stuff. Cap got me hooked on these. So good.”
Peter glares, disbelieving that Tony Stark of all people is lecturing him about relationships. Then he goes back to pacing. “You don’t know Wade like I do. He’s vulnerable. His judgment isn’t always good. He might be captured. Who knows what someone like Hammer could do to him? Hammer could stop his regeneration before he heals! It’s easier than people think. Oh, God. Why didn’t I go with him?”
“Hey. Stop catastrophizing and sit down.”-----------------
While Wade is away on a mission without Peter, Peter and Tony finally talk. Tony understands more than Peter thinks he does. Maybe Tony doesn't actually hate Wade...

Summary
Together they wrestle the terrorists into a bundle, and Spider-Man’s webs work on the canvas of the tent just fine. He wads the canvas bundle together until the men inside can’t move and then shoves the bundle on its side and webs the cocoon of angry, insecure White men to the ground.
Deadpool shakes himself as his body pushes bullets back out. “Eugh. I hate that. So itchy and weird. I will never get used to that.”
Tired, shaken, and wishing his mask is less stuffy, Spider-Man walks over to Deadpool and gives him a one-armed hug. That’s when Spider-Man looks around Deadpool’s shoulder and sees a teenage girl lying face down on the ground unmoving, with a knot of other people forming around her. In the lights of the night market, the blood all over her is too obvious.
Deadpool turns and looks, responding to the way Spider-Man tenses, the way his breath catches. “Oh, no.” The lack of swearing is a bad sign. Deadpool stumbles toward her. “No, no, wait. This isn’t supposed to happen. We saved the day. We did good. Why would this happen?”

Summary
From his vantage point on the side of an office building, Peter detects Wade on the roof of an apartment building a block away. Peter swings out wide and lands a somersault effortlessly on the roof of the apartment, two feet from Wade. Wade is in “just chillin’” mode, sitting cross-legged, listening to his I-pod, and doodling on some cheap sketch paper in crayon. He’s clearly forgotten about their date to meet over by the Hudson River. Or this is the result of Wade’s poor sense of time. Dissociative disorders mess with a person’s ability to tell time or even what day they’re in.
Still, Peter is not prepared for Wade to glance up, leap to his feet, tear off his earbuds, and scream, “Spider-Man!”

Summary
Spock beamed up to the Enterprise, flush with happiness that Jim had seen the logic of abandoning Starfleet and living on Omicron Ceti III in peace. Why should they confront the horrors of space for a military based far away on Earth? Why should they continue killing and being killed? Being a captain did not make Jim happy. He was tortured the responsibility and the thanklessness of his loyalty. What Jim needed was a simple life, a farm life, like his idyllic childhood in Iowa. Omicron Ceti III could provide that. And they would all be safe here, all live long, happy lives together.
Jim stood with a metal bar in his hand and a sneer on his face, his body coiled for combat. “All right, you mutinous, disloyal, computerized half-breed, we'll see about you deserting my ship.”

The first time Jim called Spock a computer, it was a compliment. The next time Jim called him a computer, it was not pleasurable.
(Note: The racism and not-okay-ness is baked into the episode "This Side of Paradise." I use the dialogue from that episode.)

“You usually catch me before I get to the jump-scare part,” Wade protested. “I think the real question here is why didn’t you turn around this time? Hm? If you think about it, you’re lucky it was your old pal Deadpool and not some perverted creep sneaking up on you.”
Spidey raised an eyebrow at him.
“Well, better the devil you know,” Wade muttered.
Or, Peter’s spidey-sense is missing in action, and Wade is determined to get to the bottom of it.
