This fic is an exploration of what it’s like to have PTSD and RSD (rejection sensitivity dysphoria). It is not a commentary on, nor is it intended to represent a specific personality disorder; it’s simply an example of what it’s like to live with past rejection and emotional and psychological abuse.
Tag Notes:
Apart from the ‘verbal abuse’ and ‘alcohol abuse’ tags, the abuse and trauma tags refer to past abuse from Heaven and Hell, although specifics aren’t talked about. For the ‘verbal abuse’ tag, Crowley imagines God verbally abusing him. The ‘alcohol abuse’ tag is the mention of Crowley wanting to get drunk and black out because he is upset, but he doesn’t actually drink. The ‘manipulative relationship’ tag applies to Crowley’s behaviours, acting out of self-defense, & Aziraphale’s behaviours in trying to protect him. -
