Miles gulped, reaching a shaking hand up to the one around his throat. "You- If you let me, uh." Miles stumbled, his usual snark and eloquence completely drained from his tone- Shit, these might have been the first words he'd spoken all night. He almost didn't recognize the sound of his own voice, and winced at how little and weak he sounded. "Let me take care of that, and, uh..." He swallowed thickly, the words feeling heavy in his mouth.
