CuteGuy's always been a hot commodity. Well loved by the people, desired by heroes and villains alike, he's mostly held himself apart from it all. After all, he has Scar, and he kinda-sorta has Vex, so what more could he want from someone else? Well, some people don't enjoy waiting for things they want, and they've waited to get CuteGuy in their clutches long enough. After all, a commodity like that has to go for more money than they could have hoped for right?
All Grian had wanted to do was calm down after another argument with Vex, take some space before he said something that would really put him at odds with the villain that he somehow found himself routinely sharing a person and space with. A patrol, an evening to himself. It should have been simple.
It was anything but.

Astron huffed. “Do-” Why not go for it? He seems to be chill with me right now. “Do you wanna be, or?”
“That’s the thing, man. I can’t. I literally can’t.”
They made a sound of loose pity. If anything was going to make someone want to drown in alcohol, it would be Rat.
Not speaking from experience.
A different take on the Content SMP masquerade event. Just a lot more complexly polyamorous.

Tim shrugged him off with a snarl, wings puffing up defensively. “I told you to drop it! It’s fine, everything’s fine. Stop being so damn nosy all the time!”
“Maybe when I actually believe that I will. You can’t seriously be trying to convince me ‘everything’s fine’. Anyone could see how weird you’ve been lately!”
“Just don’t worry about it!” Jimmy said frantically, backing up slightly. “It’s just- it’s stupid, it’s just my dumb bird problems don’t worry about it.”
Joel didn’t seem to know what to say to that but fortunately Grian did.

Rat was a simple man. One with blood staining his hands. When he went to spar with his friend, he never expected to face death for the final time. When the chains wrapped around him and the beam of pure golden light came down upon him, he knew his story was over.
He never expected to go flying off.
Word soon came from settlements by the border that a massive hole has appeared in the supposedly impenetrable barrier.
