Summary
Captain Kirk, Spock, and Bones are kidnapped, and their captors just want information. Summary
The boy watches him carefully, focusing sharply on his every reaction, “You got any kids?”
Bruce makes sure the surprise at the question is not evident on his face, “I don't,” He answers heavily.
Peter closes his eyes with a slow and deliberate movement, disappointment evident in the way his shoulders relax in defeat, “So you're not my dad, huh?”
“No, Peter,” Bruce confirms gently, not sure why the truth feels wrong, “I'm not your father.”
The boy opens his eyes, expression full of grief and eyes a blazing gold flecked with green, “My name's actually Jason.”
(A strange boy covered in scars enters Doctor Bruce Wayne's emergency room.)

Summary
“Might I ask you what do you think of Arthur?” Uther asks.
“Arthur? Oh, that’s easy,” Merlin says. “He’s a pompous, arrogant, self-important prick, whose compassion I’m sure will make him the greatest king that this kingdom will ever see.”
Uther needs a moment to work through all that.
“Romantically,” he clarifies. “I meant romantically.”
(Uther learns that Merlin is the son of the last dragonlord. He sends him away with Balinor in exchange for a promise that Kilgharrah will not attack Camelot again, and in doing absolutely shatters Arthur's heart. In a flare of fatherly regret, he does what he feels he must to soothe Arthur's distress, which includes trying to figure out what it is that Arthur likes so much about Merlin in the first place.)

Summary
“I want to go home,” Merlin chokes.
“Come home,” Arthur beseeches him, stretching his arm as far as he can.
He feels the ghost of heat hovering over his palm. He feels it drawing closer until—
“No.”
He opens his eyes and finds Emrys poised over him with wide-spread fingers and bared teeth.
“No,” Emrys says again, this time to Arthur’s face.(Splintered Merlin AU. In a fit of terror, Arthur kills Merlin and regrets everything immediately. Two years later, he gets a chance to make things right when a man calling himself Emrys wanders back into his closest circle. Arthur thinks that he can make Merlin come back to him if only he treats this Emrys the way he should have treated Merlin. Emrys, meanwhile, isn't interested in alleviating Arthur's guilt. He wants to play out his own fairytale; the problem is that there's a dragon in the way.)
