Summary
Will pelted toward the shadowy, grey-cloaked figure, who threw aside his longbow and swept toward Will through the snow. Will hurled himself at Halt and felt his mentor’s arms lock around him in a ferocious embrace. Burying his face in Halt’s shoulder, a cry burst from Will’s mouth, and then he couldn’t stop the torrent of sobs that spilled over. He tried to gulp out half a dozen different things at once, but in the end the only words he managed were, “You found me.”
After all, that was the only thing that truly mattered.
As I was recently relistening to the audiobook, I was unsatisfied with Halt and Will's reunion in canon in Oakleaf Bearers/The Battle for Skandia, so I wrote a one-shot to elaborate on that scene a little. Title from Ada Limón's poem "The Tree of Fire."

Summary
The overhead lights are too bright for Aizawa to see anything beyond the four sets of ropes. His vision blurs and begins to hurt from the strain of the lights, and it takes several seconds for him to adjust enough to see the beginnings of the crowd.
Across the mat, he sees Midoriya crouched in the opposite corner, muttering to himself. Overhead, a bell rings.
Fuck.
