Summary
It was getting dark now, and the great black tent of the circus just visible outside the city bounds was slowly disappearing against the fading sky. Branzy couldn’t see any of the smaller red and black stripped tents surrounding it from where he was, but the main tent was obvious even from just the part that could been seen, appearing to lean towards the city with a promise of blood.
OR: Branzy decides that the safest place to hide is where no one would ever expect to find a coward.

"Branzy doesn't quite know when the feeling started. Or, more accurately, he wasn't sure when he started to become aware of it.
It was... strange. Some sort of hollowness and aching in his chest, a feeling of discomfort from being in his own body. The want to just- be crushed by someone for an extended period of time. He wasn't really sure what to do about it, especially when the feeling was strongest when he was around Clown. As close as the two were getting, he wasn't sure how Clown would react to Branzy randomly asking "hey, can you give me a bone-crushing hug and just hold me like that for a while? Thanks."
But he wanted to. He really, really wanted to."

Summary
So, Branzy liked to think he knew some things about Clown by now.
Clown liked clowns, circus stuff, psychology, memes and things that seem to be designed for kids, like plushies or ball pits for example.
He also liked books, if the bookshelf in his room was anything to go off of.
Pranks were also on his agenda.Clown also probably disliked physical touch.
Well, Branzy wasn’t sure, seeing as he never asked or had any actual evidence or indications of that being the case, but it just fit the vibe.
Actually, Clown did hold his hands once, but that was to bring a point across, so Branzy was pretty sure that didn’t count.If only he knew how wrong he was.
