Summary
The Cage was never meant to hold a human. It was meant for one archangel, not two, and definitely not a human soul. Little by little Sam's soul was being destroyed by the torture the Cage inflicted on it. Lucifer and Michael joined together and, with their combined grace, pieced together Sam Winchester's soul and sent him out of the Cage and into the past in the hopes that he can stop this whole thing before it even starts.
Only, when Sam lands, things don't quite go so well. He's not all that sure that this isn't another torture the Cage has provided for him. He's in the past, right after Dean got out of Hell, and he's nowhere near the same man he was before. He can barely remember how to function as a human. It's going to take his family and a little help from a surprised archangel for Sam to start to recover. He doesn't have much time, though, because the apocalypse is still coming and the angels are fighting to get Lucifer free. Can one broken man manage to change the past? Or are they doomed to repeat their same mistakes over and over again?

Summary

Summary
During Regulus Black's first year at Hogwarts, he feels nothing but contempt for his stupid, troublemaking, Gryffindor brother, (who left him all alone in that cold, cold house), and his ragtag group of blood traitor friends.
As he grows (and gets kidnapped by said brother), he finds his contempt turned to begrudging tolerance and himself in a truely ill-advised relationship consisting of passionate trysts with Gryffindor’s golden boy, James Potter. Regulus knows that it won’t work out. That eventually, someone will get hurt. Still, James is the kind of hurt you lean into, addicted to the thrill of the flight right up until the fall. Maybe even still then.

“Hey,” it comes again, a little more urgent than before, a little closer, another hammer to his ears and all the noise shrieking behind his eyes. He recoils hard enough to go stumbling as a hand reaches for him, covered in flesh rather than empty bone, tan and recognizable. Unbelievable.
There’s something wet trickling from his nose. Bile stings on the back of his tongue. The words dissolve into the rest of the white noise as he stares up at the blue of the sky, and tries to remember if he’d ever had a hallucination as bright as this.
‘I have to be dead,’ he thinks. Somehow, he isn’t.

Steve frowns back. “Yeah, I meant for you to be, like, on the other side of it,” he explains. When Eddie just looks confused, he adds, “Why are you here?”
Eddie cocks his head, almost hitting the toilet in the process.
“Well, I found you sitting here in the dark on the bathroom floor, Harrington,” Eddie explains patiently. “I was, you know, mildly concerned but I can leave if you want me to.”
It’s like that “oh my god they were roommates” vine except with mental illness and the excruciating catharsis of being known.
