Summary
The arrival at Erid is a momentous occasion. Rocky is excited and thrilled. Ryland is overwhelmed. But the reunion is happy, beautiful, amazing.
Or that's what it should have been. Except Rocky gets hurt, Ryland is left to try and communicate with an alien planet, and everyone is scrambling to figure out how to do this. To Grace, this is incredible but also bittersweet - he got Rocky home safely with the taumoeba, now he just gets... to starve. To Erid, this is insane - how did Rocky show up in an alien spaceship with a child???

Ryland Grace is stuck trying to speak Eridian, immediately makes himself sound like a child, and Rocky's world and family scramble to help this strange pebble. Misunderstandings galore, alongside hurt/comfort and angst and fluff.

Summary
Recently, I was granted the honor of learning more about the creation of offspring in the species. God, I sound so clinical right now. In other words, Rocky and Adrian were having kids. Yeah.
I gave myself the privilege of creating the english translation of “♪♩♫” because I also so happened to also be the leading expert on the English language (within a several lightyear radius). I landed on the word pebbles, which I told Rocky just meant “little rock.” Rocky just stared deep into me for a few seconds with that faceless carapace of his before humming out what I assume to be the Eridian equivalent of a groan. Rocky is right, I am terrible at naming things.
