This wasn't how Mike wanted this to go. In all his fantasies where Mike was lucky enough that Will wanted him back, it had always been out of love, not Mike's stupid heat forcing Will to want to fuck him. And clearly Will didn't actually want to fuck Mike, considering he hid in his room for days so he wouldn't have to be around him, but Mike had barged in and ruined everything and now Will had lost himself to his desire and it was all Mike's fault. If he'd been smarter, kept better track of his cycle and used scent patches at home like you're supposed to with housemates, none of this would have happened.
But. Will needed it. And Mike has no purpose if not to make Will happy, even if Will ends up regretting it when he can think straight again.
All Mike had wanted to do when he went into Will's burrow was make sure his best friend was alright, since Will had all but locked himself away for days. He had not meant to get stuck in a too-narrow tunnel with his lower half hanging out, but that's where he ended up. And, turns out, Will had a very good reason for hiding in his room.
