“I can’t kill myself faster than I’m already dying.” Harry snapped, finally looking at him— his voice sounded angry, but all Peter saw in those blue eyes was pure terror.
Both of them froze in that moment, the words hanging in the air heavy enough to make it feel like they’d suffocate. The look on Harry's face told him he already regretted speaking, and all Peter could do was stare at him, mouth agape in horror, blood turning to ice in his veins.
