Summary
Due to lack of maintanence in the Great Movement Chamber a fraction of the more dangerous aspects of the Dyne have begun to leak into the river proper. Klaus takes it on himself to be the only researcher responsible for figuring out what is leaking and designing better filters to make sure it gets no where near other sparks. He knows the Jäger will be watching him like hawks.
Starts in Gil's second year in Paris, a bit before Winter Break.
(Edit) Or: A spur of the moment fic that got out of hand. I don't know much more about where I'm going with this then you. I just know it's going to be a ride and a half.
(Edit dec 19) I've found the main barrier to me writing more about this is how poorly planned it is. I'm sort of unhappy with my writing here. I still like the concept. One day I plan to do a rewrite and finish this, but for now it's in fic limbo.

Carly spat out her drink.
"You have a conjunx?!?" Prowl wasn't completely certain how Carly had gotten that from his statement. Some level of human observation he likely would only understand if it were explained to him, Prowl was sure. Either way, the information had her completely stunned. Which- Was not the reaction Prowl had been expecting. And the human wasn't the only incredulous one in the room. Both of the twins, Ironhide, Mirage, and Streetwise were staring. Red Alert was likely gawking through the security cameras as well. Assuming he hadn't figured it out sooner.

Summary
When Blaster checks himself in the reflection of the transport's glass, he can almost fool himself into believing that that's the frame of an oversized minibot, and not a flimsy pile of squeaky joints and mismatched parts.
Blaster doesn't know the first thing about mining, or being a boombox, or cassettes, but he'll play it by audial and figure it out. Eventually.
