Summary
This is a heavily inspired/seed idea from First Heat by TellMeNoAgain. Jaesea Parker and Peter Parker were born in a A/B/O world (this time AU’s people) Neither one is really pressed for finding their fated mate. But that’s for different reasons.
Peter’s is because he believes that his job as spider-man is too dangerous and he will harm his mate more than help. And because he doesn’t want to end up fighting them in trying to make him retire the suit.
Jaesea’s is simple. She doesn’t feel like poisoning a dumbass. Not that she plans on killing her fated mate. But because if he tries something remotely like controlling her. She would nip it in the bud. Violently.

Summary
Peter is a young omega looking to make it in the world of law. He attends a prestigious university with the goal of getting into the Columbia law school when he graduates. To do that, however, he needs to get more experience in the field to ensure that his resume stands out. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the many, varied connections that his richer classmates seem to have.
He makes a breakthrough when he's offered a second, in-person interview at a new law office run by young, hotshot defense lawyers in Manhattan. Barnes & Rogers are known for taking tough civil rights cases and proving the innocence of their clients. Peter wants desperately to get an internship at such a place.
Little does he truly understand what it is they see in him, or just how much he will enjoy working at this firm.
