Summary
Izuku Midoriya was born with a quirk.
Ever since he opened his eyes, he could see and hear the dead.
The dead, the supernatural, the gods people abandoned. They walk the streets just as you and I do, bumping into nobody.
Nobody but Izuku.
They speak. He listens. He helps the best he can, learning dead languages humans were never meant to speak and seeing things humans were never meant to see. Kacchan helps Izuku help the spirits.
OR
Izuku Midoriya and his best friend Kacchan cause havoc without even meaning to. They're just trying to help. So what if they're being told what to do by a god that is everything and nothing all at once?

When Herm's grandma brings in another batch of stray cats (which he said no to, mind you, but he can't just put them back!), he doesn't expect to find a cat willing to put up with his water.
He also doesn't expect said cat to have a big litter of kittens when he decides to keep her, but he really should learn to expect anything by now.

Summary
An AU first half of Season 8 (pre-Trials storyline, that essentially remains the same, give or take a few subtle changes but everything before Trial and Error has been altered.) Following the explosion at the Leviathan headquarters, Dick Roman is gone, Dean and Cas were taken to Purgatory, and Sam is alone. Or, he would be. But unfortunately, for Sam, someone has eyes on him. Someone has watched Sam for years, waiting for their opportunity to strike, and with Cas and Dean finally (supposedly) off the playing board, they take their golden opportunity to use Sam against another supernatural being, one that, according to rumors, Sam is already destined to kill. And when Dean returns from Purgatory, the first thing he does is search out his wayward brother, who may or may not be the same one he left behind.
