Twilight slows down, matching her stride as he pulls an object out of his pocket. He hands her something rubbery. “Here. I don't have a change of clothes for you, but you can at least hide your face."
Her eyes sparkle as she squeezes the object in her hand. "Oh! Is this a disguise? I've never wore a disguise before! This is so exciting!"
He raises a brow, "You really have never wore a disguise?"
Yor slides the mask over her face. "I asked Shopkeeper about it once, actually. But he said that if I'm doing my job well, no one will be alive after the assignment to remember my face." She beams at him innocently.
Blinking, he looks away and continues to put on his mask. "Right."

He heard her breath catch at the same moment he felt his heart stop. Melting under her stare, his heart fluttered spastically. A dizziness settled in his brain as he breathed her in, the scent of her rose perfume etching itself permanently into the ghost of his body.
With a bashful smile, she shifted closer, grazing his thumb with hers. He noticed her rosy cheeks as she peered up at him through thick lashes. Her crimson lips moved slowly, carrying her voice in a soft whisper. “S-so if I wanted to get better at talking to men, could I…practice on you?”

“Yes, that!” Her eyes were suddenly lit up, her blood-splattered lips curving into a grin.
Twilight could feel a migraine coming on.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly walks in, the bell announcing her presence as she enters.
As soon as she stepped a single foot inside, her senses kicked in. She felt a shiver down her spine; a strange sensation rippled through her skin, one she hadn’t felt in quite some time.
She swiftly turned her head, her hair whipping behind her. Red eyes locked onto the target like a heat-seeking missile.
Her face quickly paled.
There he was, staring right back at her.
The source of her anguish.
Her husband.
TLDR: After the unceremonious end of Operation Strix, Loid comes back with the milk after being gone for 2 years with no explanation. But he sure has a LOT of explaining to do to his wife.

The woman’s face bloomed with crimson. She drew the blade closer to his skin, “Has anyone ever told you to shut the hell up?”

“Excuse me miss, do you have a dance partner?” He said in his most effortless, charming voice.
The woman suddenly jolted, her spiky golden earrings dangled as her demeanor switched up almost instantly. She blinked slowly in confusion, “Me?”
Twilight chuckled softly, “Yes, you. Do you have one?”
The woman started to look nervous, “Uhm well- no, I wasn’t exactly planning on dancing…” she paused, looking at him. His blue eyes were warm and his gaze was comforting. She felt her heart flip in her chest.
“B-but if you are offering..” She said softly, her eyes darted to the side as her face turned red.
Easy bait.
aka I wrote an short cheesy AU story about Twilight (Loid) meeting Yor at a masquerade party while they are both on separate missions. In this AU, Operation Strix does not exist and they are seeing each other for the first time. Also Loid gets a little wine drunk, or so he says.

“What could you possibly be waiting for? Are you waiting for your dear RFA to come and rescue you? Or perhaps you think that weakling Ray will come save you? Do you think you are some kind of princess? What a stupid fantasy.”
“I’m waiting for you, actually.”
aka I wrote a psychoanalysis and short oneshot of suit Saeran visiting MC in her room. Takes place near the end of Day 8 (I think?) on Saeran's route. MC comforts Saeran.
