Summary
Will Byers had done everything in his power to survive. He left Hawkins and never looked back, burying his ghosts to take a job teaching at a local shelter for troubled boys. He carefully interred every single shred of his past just to keep moving forward. And it was working. He was forgetting - he was finally, blissfully, numb.
That, until a new writing teacher starts working at the same shelter, threatening to ruin every progress Will had ever made.
Or: an entire year of: Bylearner! Angst! Slow burn! So much pain! So much love!
"Every time I make you cry, it starts raining," Mike states quietly. His voice is barely audible over the roaring downpour, but it cuts through the thunder like a blade.
"Only the times you've witnessed," Will says in return, his voice barely a whisper.

Summary
Out of summer boredom, Mike and Will start making bets. Mike decides to up the stakes, offering the loser should do everything the other tells him for the rest of the summer.
Mike loses.
And somehow, following Will’s orders isn’t as bad as it should be...
Or: Will wins a bet and gets to tell Mike what to do, and it makes Mike feel all sorts of things ;)
Pasteur saw that germs only appear if there’s exposure to the outside world.
Darwin saw that finches with certain beak shapes survived while others went extinct.
And Mike Wheeler saw that being told what to do by his best friend makes him horny.The question asked after all of these discoveries, inevitably, is - why?

Summary
Will Byers is a barista who uses his first spring break to save money, paint faceless figures, and maybe make a tall, dark haired stranger a little bit confused.
Mike Wheeler is the drummer of a rock band in California who uses his first spring break to play music, hang out and, well… get confused.
The universe keeps bringing them together, and these supposed strangers begin to know one another for the very first time.

Summary
It's the 2000's, and Michael Wheeler is miserable. He hates everything about himself; everything he'd become. He has nothing left to lose. Dustin, who still greives Steve's and Eddie's death, invents a machine that allows them to travel through the multiverse- to see other dimensions, other versions of themselves.
Together, they look for a reality where Steve and Eddie are alive, but instead they find answers Mike didn't know he was looking for.Or: Miserable Mike realizes that he is only happy when he's with Will.

Summary
Summer break, two years after graduating high school. Will and Mike almost kiss, and everything changes. They find themselves on a journey together after a mysterious clue. They have no choice but to finally confront what’s been going on between them for years.
“I keep showing up,” Mike says. His voice doesn’t break, but he feels like it should. “Even when you try to throw me away.”
Will flinches, and Mike hates himself for it immediately.
“I didn’t- ” Will says, and his eyes drop. “I didn’t throw you away.”
Mike’s mouth twitches. Not a smile. Something sadder. “You threw the letters away.”
