    An (Un)Wise Father:
    When Matches Malone strides into Red Hood’s meeting and settles in among the new recruits, Jason Todd has never been more grateful for the full-face helmet. Why was dad Bruce Batman here?
    Bruce has obviously figured out from their encounter who Red Hood is and has decided to… what? Taunt him? Anger flaring, Jason refuses to react to the persona that Jason himself had once helped Bruce to dress up as. If Bruce wants to play dress up and look like a fool, who is Jason to stop him?

    Bruce isn’t sure what to expect when he walks into the meeting. Even though his recent ‘rescue’ at the hands of Red Hood had Bruce looking at Hood’s activities with new light, there is still a more pressing concern.
    Red Hood may know Bruce Wayne’s secret.

    “Yes,” he croaked, clearing his throat. He couldn’t afford to be weak right now. Especially not in front of Obi-Wan. “Be right behind you.”

    A moment of silence. Thin hesitation. But then he heard Obi-Wan’s footsteps grow quiet, and Anakin crumpled.

    Eventually, Obi-Wan looked up, eyes bloodshot, and offered what Cody assumed to be a meager attempt at a smile. “I’m– I am alright.” His voice was weak, coated in a thick grumbling tone, unconvincing at best. Cody grimaced.

    “It’s– you don’t have to be.” Cody reminded him, stoking a thumb over the small bruises along his jaw hating the way Obi-Wan flinched slightly under his touch. “You had a seizure, that must be–”

     

    “It’s not the first time.”
