"It's easy. Stand by the creek, keep the reds away. Leave the rest to me. Athena always has a plan."
She pushed ahead, leaving him in the dust.
Easy, Percy thought. He could do easy. He barely knew how to hold a sword and use a shield but it couldn’t be too hard, could it? Annabeth wouldn’t assign him something beyond his capabilities. Chiron’s rules would prevent him from really getting hurt. It would be fine.
(It was not fine.)

Summary
A heavy door slid open, revealing a dank cavity in the wall that might generously be referred to as a cell. There was a single rude cot in the unlit room, shoved against one of the stone walls, but it was untouched. The occupant of the cell lay huddled in the corner, curled up in a ball, his hands clutching his head. The sight of him sent a chill down Qui-Gon’s spine.
Young Obi-Wan Kenobi has been captured on a mission and tortured for information. Qui-Gon negotiates his release, but when he comes to free him, Obi-Wan is convinced he is nothing more than another hallucination.

Summary
This is a collection of extra scenes and new ideas to accompany Choose Again.
Each chapter will be its own story; the lengths will vary; and you do not have to read them in order (although the stories will make a lot more sense if you've read my first story, Choose Again).

I will always have the Force."But, after the initial shock wears off, having the Force doesn’t feel sufficient. Obi-Wan has the Force, yes, but very little else.
And it is terrifying.
(Obi-Wan suffers for decades, for no other reason than that Palpatine is unsurprisingly evil.
But, this leads Qui-Gon to be a better Master, and helps keep Anakin rooted in the Light)NOTE: I removed the blockquotes and fixed the formatting to this story, as of 12/26/2025
