The non golden eye could be seen peaking through the crack of the doorway, with a small smile creeping up to it. Amity looked away, despite seeing her face in this state multiple times she still couldn’t bear to see her like this. How could such an innocent person be pushed so far? She didn’t deserve it, none of them deserved any of the harm that was done.
“I brought you something, Hecate.” She went through the door, her full appearance being uncovered.

Luz is psyched to go on a school field trip to The Shoulder, but something goes wrong and now she's in a totally different dimension?! Also there's her beanie-wearing, grumpy older alternate self to deal with. It's nice that Amity is here, but everything wants to eat them so this trip gets a 3.5/5 maximum.
or: Luz and Amity have to survive the perils of an alternate dimension's Boiling Isles; the monsters are terrifying, the people are weird, plants can eat you and magic is poisonous.

Luz goes to the Boiling Isles, and meets Amity Blight, a witch who is her rival-turned-friend-turned-girlfriend.
Lucia is stuck in class, and meets Amelia, a green haired, pointy earred girl and local class flirt.
Luz destroys the portal that will take her back home at the end of the summer to keep it out of an Emperors hands.
Lucia greets her sister back from Summer camp, and can’t shake the feeling that something is very wrong.
