Still equipped with a bucket over his head, Kinger lifts the bucket with one hand, meeting Pomni’s gaze when she looks up and finds her body suddenly cooperating again. Her avatar is no longer racked by glitches, she no longer flashes colors that she shouldn’t be — one second, she was unsteady, and the next, it was like nothing ever happened.
