After the gun adventure, Jax locks himself away for a week as Pomni slowly crumbles without him, and so does their relationship after their fight. Caine, being the not-so bright AI, decides to create an adventure for the two of them to mend their rocky relationship. They end up stuck in a 3 week adventure in a suburban home, forced to reconcile their innermost feelings while... taking care of a baby???!!!

One week after escaping the circus, nobody knows how to be human again.
Christine can’t sleep without wondering if reality is fake. Emily cries in gas station bathrooms. Cathy’s trying desperately to hold the group together. Nicky stays high enough not to think too hard about any of it.
And Felix acts like he’s fine.
Packed into a stolen van with nowhere to go, the five of them drift across the country in a haze of motel rooms, cigarettes, cheap alcohol, and ugly late-night arguments. But when Christine and Felix get trapped in each other’s orbit, hatred starts blurring into something far more dangerous — messy, obsessive intimacy between two people who only feel real when they’re touching each other. Felix kisses her like he’s trying to start a fire. Christine kisses him back like she wants the whole fucking world to burn.
Around them, Nicky, Emily and Cathy are still surviving, figuring things out for themselves.

Living in Night City is hard, especially if you're trying to earn money in an at least somewhat honest way. But V gets buy, best she can. One of those ways she gets by is by scouting for cyberware in the city dump she can fix up and sell second hand.
But she wasn't expecting to find some handsome guy buried under all that trash...

Comms crackle in V’s ears as Panam’s voice clips in. “You okay, V? You look hurt.”
“I’m fine,” he all-too-quickly snaps back, and even in her lack of response, he can sense the concern practically radiating off of his companion. No one would be insistent in such a peculiar way unless they were hurt. Or they were being harrassed by the ghost of a washed-up rockstar living rent-free in their head with a top shelf bullet vibe in the middle of a firefight. Either-or.
