Summary
If there's one thing Alaya keeps running out of, it's Counter Guardians. Sure, there are some who are dutiful and ever-ready, but so many of them, especially her favorites, keep killing themsleves. So, she sometimes goes and poaches heroes from other timelines. A bargain made and agreed is far, right?
Arceus disagrees. And in retaliation, snags four of the most likely hero candidates (and one failed hero) from Alaya and drops them into his world. They deserve a vacation, and a chance to grow up properly, take their journey. What could go wrong?

Summary
The Pokémon Rangers exist to maintain the balance between nature and civilization, Pokémon and humans. They are guides and agents, heroes and charity workers, police and firefighters… anything and everything that can help. Ironically, they are also an endangered species, fading in relevance as newfangled Trainers dominate the conservationist scene.
Taylor Hebert — who has worn the many masks of Skitter, Weaver, Khepri — has to find new meaning to her life after saving infinite Earths during Gold Morning. Looking back, she’s filled with regrets, questions of what she could have done differently. Lost, cold, and alone, her rocky path forward is paved with the good intentions of the Pokémon Rangers.
Summer, Top Ranger and two-time Hero of Oblivia, wanders without purpose for years after the fall of the Pokémon Pinchers and Purple Eyes. Chained to the ground in Oblivia, she yearns to soar through the sky again, to reaffirm what it means to be a Pokémon Ranger. Maybe it’s time for the Pokémon Rangers to leave the nest for a world that doesn’t have so many good intentions.
