“Tommy broke up with you?” Eddie frowns.
Buck cackles maniacally. “He did! Hundreds of times! And I thought I was supposed to stop it from happening! I changed everything. Over and over. And you,” he points, accusing. “You didn’t think to mention that you’re in love with me until the Last. Fucking. Time.”
Or, Buck gets stuck in a time loop. Eddie is very confused.

And he is hallucinating, because the alternative is that Eddie, who does not believe in magic, ordered what appears to be an Etsy witch and placed a love spell on what appears to be Buck.
