    Summary

The sharp sensation that jolted his body was too familiar. He widened his eyes and stared at his mentor in absolute fear. He knew exactly what his senses were screaming at him for. Just like that freezing December night, this was not his end but might as well be given what would inevitably follow. “No - Please don’t go. Please -”

    Summary

Penelope Parker (AKA Queens' Friendly Neighborhood Arachnid!) is perfectly fine. She's been alone for just over three years, and she's fine, really! She has no friends or family to speak of, mind you, save for Deadpool, if he counts. Her apartment is shit, she's balancing waitressing with selling photos to the Bugle and saving lives nightly as Arachnid, she doesn't talk to any of the other Masks or Capes out there, but she's - really! At least, that's what she says. Then, it all comes crashing down around her ears (Alongside an apartment building...) After a serious injury in a fight with Rhino and Juggernaut, Arachnid discovers that a certain wannabe-Vampire doctor is getting out of DODC jail early, leaving her scrambling to find a solution. With less than two weeks to find a way to contain Doctor Morbius' bloodlust, Penny is forced to start relying on those around her. But can she open up to others after more than three years of hiding away?

The clock is ticking, Fate is knocking, and Penny's past is catching up. Can our little spider climb fast enough to avoid the rising waters?

(And what the *hell* is up with the rumors of famously dead Tony Stark sightings at various Mutant and Mask gathering places?!)

    Summary

The Enhanced Registration Act passed months ago, pushed through congress immediately after the Accords.

Tony never agreed to a registration act, but thus far it hadn’t affected his life much. The Avengers were done, and keeping enhanced people at arm’s length made it easier to ignore.

Then a chance encounter with a dodgy teenager changed everything.

Peter Parker was suspicious as hell, snarky, and the most brilliant child Tony had ever met. When Tony discovers he’s also Spider-Man, everything about him suddenly makes sense. Like why a fifteen-year-old boy genuinely believes he doesn't have a future outside a government facility. For Peter, it wasn’t a matter of if SHIELD would catch him, but when.

Tony had never been great at following rules or listening to the government, so it was the easiest decision of his life to put himself on Peter’s side. Now he just has to keep the kid out of SHIELD’s hands long enough to fix the damn law.

    Summary

“Does Dad want to cut the umbilical cord?” a nurse asked, and Tony looked abruptly so terrified that Pepper had to laugh again.

“Not the, uh--” he forwent answering and took the offered scissors to give them to Pepper. He reminded her, “You kicked ass.”

Pepper huffed, taking the scissors victoriously. “‘Course I did.”

    She cut the cord.
