Summary
In the back of Lance's mind, Allura whispers, “Can you feel it?” with the constancy of the tides. “Waves form and fall apart with your every breath, and your every hope becomes a trickling brook. When you sing, rain falls onto dry earth, and when you cry, a land begins to flood. All the oceans are living with you, Lance, and your eyes are full of stardust.”
Lance remembers swimming and only coming up for air when he remembered he’s supposed to need to breathe, and decides that limits can no longer hold him.
“What do I care how old I am?” and his voice breaks before it becomes something that is not quite his own, older than any grand river grinding its way through earth and stone to make deep seated canyons, all in its endless mission to reach the sea.
The voice is of the Ancients, and it clambers out of his chest like a siren’s song.
Eyes glow blue, and the alien takes a step back as the once calm ocean begins to rise and thrash.“The ocean,” Lance calls, “is old as fuck.”
(And when he smirks, it is unholy.)

"What are you trying to say?"
"That we didn’t grow up with servants," Elyan snorted "I know it’s a scary thought but...we can actually survive a hunt without Merlin’s stew." He said. Gwaine gasped in fake shock.
"We don’t need a servant," Arthur piped up immediately, chest puffing out in defiance "Hell, with how Merlin is, I’ve pretty much been without a servant for years!"
"Great!" Percival said and jerked his head "Then let’s go."

The knights go on a hunt without a servant because Merlin is sick. Obviously it goes fantastic.

Summary
Set in a world where familiars and witches are paired to perform magic together, Lance is an aspiring witch who is desperate to find his bondmate. He's dreamed of the day when he would be able to perform bonded magic, but hides a dark secret that could ruin everything. Keith is a familiar who's seen a little too much of the world. He's been paired with witches multiple times and each one has forced and broken a bond on him, so now he swears off ever letting himself be paired again.
When they meet, though, Lance triggers something in Keith and it scares the hell out of him. A part of him desperately wants to be paired, but he's not sure he can take rejection one more time.

Summary
Zuko realizes his destiny much earlier. As in, as soon as he wakes up in the palace after his Agni Kai and is told he is banished. Unfortunately, he's never been a patient one. So he storms right up to Ozai and tells him what he's going to do. And gets locked up for over three years. Then, one day, he's being pulled out and told he's the new Fire Lord.
A "Zuko never meets the Gaang and suddenly becomes Fire Lord after three years of literal torture" AU. In which the Gaang doesn't know what to think of the new Fire Lord who happens to be the missing nephew of Aang's firebending teacher, Iroh constantly has a headache, and, sure, maybe the world hates the Fire Nation, but the Fire Nation LOVES Zuko, and he can work with that.
