Summary
A violent daytime storm knocks out the power. Robby and Whitaker find themselves trapped in darkness and stifling heat for hours, layers come off, walls come down, and one impulsive, desperate kiss changes everything
How do you pretend something never happened when you can still taste it? As the storm rages and the ER demands their focus, Robby and Whitaker are forced to confront the terrifying truth: the kiss didn’t just break the rules, it broke something open inside both of them.

---
Full-season expansion of 'Confined Spaces'.
Confined Spaces: "When the elevator stalls mid-shift, trapping Robby and Whitaker between floors, it should just be a small, quick, glitch. Instead, a power outage, a head injury, and too much heat in too small a space, force everything they've been pretending not to feel into the open, leading to a breathtaking first kiss”
This story expands that moment into one complete shift. It will explore; what was happening in the Pitt before the power outage, a deeper view into the intense hours they were stuck and will follow the complicated aftermath across the rest of the shift.

Summary
Just minutes after leaving the hospital, Whitaker remembers one last question about house-sitting and calls Robby from the car. A quick phone call from the car seems harmless enough... until his battered-up phone fails to hang up.
By the time Whitaker notices, Robby has already heard the one thing Whitaker never wanted him to: that three months apart won't be nearly enough to get over the feelings he has for him.
Three months later, Robby comes home to a spotless apartment, an anxious house-sitter, and a conversation that's been waiting to happen. Whitaker has no idea whether Robby knows or not. Robby has no idea how to tell him that he does. Inevitably, the truth they've both been carefully avoiding finally comes to light.

Summary
He's confused when Robby leads him all the way to the locker room, he's confused when Robby walks straight past his locker—then Dennis's locker—then all the way back to the spare bank of lockers that no one but the travel nurses use, and he's confused when Robby opens one of them to pull out a huge box, gift-wrapped in shiny blue paper.
Robby holds out the box. "Merry Christmas, Dennis," he says quietly.
It's Dennis's third Christmas alone, except he doesn't feel so alone anymore. He doesn't have his family, but he has Trinity.
He might also have Robby. He still can't figure that one out.

Summary
“I won’t have to be back at work for a few weeks, and unlike you, I have an accessible guest room with an ensuite bathroom.” Robby shrugs and presses his lips together, glancing out of the window that’s behind Dennis’ bed. He looks almost – flustered. It entrances Dennis so much that it takes him a few minutes of pent up silence to process what he just said.
“Oh, no– I really, really couldn’t.”
“I think you can.”
Or: After Dennis manages to break both an arm and a leg, becoming bed bound, Robby offers to take care of him as a thank you for the house-sitting. It's a bad idea. Dennis still says yes.
