Summary
Captain Piett knows a man like him won’t have a grand career in the Imperial Navy, a nobody from an Outer Rim backwater who listens to his favorite engineering textbook to fall asleep and who can’t take the elevators on the Death Star without retching. It’s alright, he tells himself. Lack of ambition keeps you alive. And then he witnesses Darth Vader kill Grand Moff Tarkin.
Inspired by lautdalam’s bang the war-drums series. While torturing Leia aboard the Death Star Vader realizes she’s his daughter. From there, things slowly but surely spiral out of his control.
