Arthur Pendragon was not a man like people expected. Everyone was thinking of Arthur as a golden prince of Camelot who was loved by everyone. To children, he was legendary, to women, he was a husband figure, to men he was a respected warrior. ‘He has everything,’ They were saying. ‘He is everything.’
Arthur was not everything, though. He had faults, he was not perfect at all, he wasn’t feeling like he was loved. Of course, his people valued him but only because he was their prince. Nobody loved him because he was Arthur. He accepted his life this way eventually, he didn’t need anyone. He was just a subject for his Camelot, he had to live for his people. Only if his heart would listen to him too.
