Summary
Amon would never forget the day he met Kaneki.
When Amon found Eyepatch's unconscious body outside of the Aogiri compound, he made the most idiotic decision in his life to take the ghoul home with him and finally ask the burning questions he'd never had the chance to say. He knew he should kill Eyepatch, yet he couldn't bring himself to do so or turn him in. It was a betrayal to the CCG and what he stood for, yet as he came to know Kaneki little by little, maybe it hadn't been the most idiotic decision of his life, but his best.
No matter what happened, Amon would never be able to regret his decision that night.

Summary
Haise followed Amon’s gaze as he slowly took him in. First his eyes and lips, then his hair, face again, a widening of Amon’s eyes as he saw Haise’s fake chest, then up to his lips again.
Amon was completely gone.
Or, Haise shows up as Sasako at Amon's apartment and has plans for the night. AU where Amon wasn't captured by Aogiri after the Anteiku raid and continued as a CCG investigator.

Summary
When Kaneki ran into the ghoul investigator who he'd fought in the rain, he hadn't expected to form a friendship with him. Despite the danger and hopelessness of convincing a man who'd made it his life's mission to eradicate ghouls, Kaneki couldn't help but enjoy Amon's company. He didn't deserve it and Amon would only see their friendship as a betrayal when he'd inevitably find out, but he still found himself looking forward to the mornings when Amon would chat with him while he'd make him a coffee.
Amon had never formed any sort of relationship outside of the CCG. His life revolved around ghouls, but when he met Kaneki, he found himself opening up. He didn't even particularly enjoy coffee, but it didn't take long for him to become a regular at the cafe Kaneki worked at. Something about Kaneki was more interesting than any ghoul, and while Amon couldn't put a name to the feeling, what he did know was that he couldn't get enough of Kaneki.
Unfortunately though, secrets never remained hidden for long.

Summary
In Yuta's third year of university, he finally gained the courage to move out.
Moving out was supposed to be a new step in Yuta's life. One to allow him to gain more of his own independence and self, but who was he if not Satoru's younger brother? He knew his life wasn't supposed to revolve around Satoru, he knew he was supposed to grow into his own person, but he wasn't sure he wanted to. Either way, he'd made the decision to move forward, and Toge had offered to be roommates with him.
What Yuta hadn't expected, were the new ways he'd see Toge. Whether it was his bedhead or Toge's horrible late night snacks, every revealed side of him helped complete the picture of his friend. He'd resigned himself to his love for Satoru remaining a disgusting secret till the day he died, but maybe there could be more for him. Maybe he didn't have to stay stuck in the past.

Summary
White Day: A day celebrated one month after Valentine's Day as a reply day where, typically men, who received something on February 14th give reciprocal gifts.
Kaneki had an idea for White Day. He'd made chocolates for Hide of course, but the day served as an excuse for him to finally ask Hide if he wanted to take the next step in their relationship: sex. Hide had been more reserved ever since they'd figured out together that Kaneki was on the aromantic asexual spectrum, but Kaneki wasn't opposed to the idea of sex in the same way he wasn't opposed to romantic dates and kissing. If anything, he liked those things because of the closeness he felt to Hide during them. He even enjoyed them despite never having the same intrinsic want Hide held.
Maybe he was different from Hide who held feelings Kaneki would never be able to personally match, but it wasn't a deal breaker for them. He loved Hide, and Hide loved him. That was enough.

"Ha Hazey," Juuzou mumbled, attempting to talk around the spoonful of peanut butter hanging from from his mouth. He was perched on the kitchen counter, banana in one hand and phone in the other. Kaneki could hear Tik Tok's blaring from Juuzou's phone. Kaneki glanced at the kitchen clock. 6:48 am.
