He hasn’t moved or done anything without Jordan’s permission in so long he can’t help himself, and everyone in the room notices. Derek Hale most notably. He looks at Stiles’ reaction, looks at Jordan, and slowly retracts his hand. “No talking to alphas, is that it?” There’s accusation there in his tone, but it’s veiled. Thinly. But it is veiled.
“He can talk to whoever he likes to talk to, he just doesn’t like alphas,” Jordan corrects firmly. “Stiles, shake his hand.”

When I say this has earned a spot as one of my fav fanfics of all time, I mean it. Yet again, this author has delivered a fic with meaningful social commentary, very real characters, and heartbreaking scenes. This fic had me full out sobbing. If you've spent time around people with traditional values, particularly your family, like I have, than this fic will feel like it was pulled directly from your head. It's so real and heartbreaking at some points that you feel hopeless, and then you get giddy over Stiles being flustered about Derek having tattoos. Please, PLEASE read if you like sterek. Imo this fic should have a million kudos, literally one of the best in this entire fandom

I shied away from hardcore BDSM fics for a while because I read a few really bad ones that represented it poorly years ago. This fic has gotten me completely back on the wagon. The bdsm isn't a central focus, but it's still so fucking well written, like everything else in this fic. Genuine social commentary and very real relationships and emotions all around. I felt so connected to Stiles' desperation to be loved in this fic, which a fic hasn't done for me in a while. This is one of my favorite sterek fics ever, please read if you're okay with BDSM fics

“Okay.” Stiles glanced at his phone, wincing at the battery being close to ten percent. It was probably time to call Scott. Turning off the flashlight, mostly to save battery and kind of freaking out over how dark it was—though the half-moon reflecting off the snow helped a bit—he opened his contacts with shaking hands and scrolled through to Scott’s name. Once he hit it, he put the phone to his ear, looking around, and froze.
The phone rang in his ear, but his eyes were locked on something big and moving through the trees.
Oh no. Oh no, no, no.
If that was a fucking bear, Stiles was fucked!
The line kept ringing and ringing, but Scott didn’t answer. Eventually his voicemail picked up and Stiles very slowly lowered the phone and hung up without looking, eyes still on the dark shape in the trees. He glanced down for only a second to turn on the flashlight function again, then lifted it ever so slowly upwards, and felt his breath freeze in his lungs.
It was a wolf.
It was a motherfucking wolf.

A human omega? What kind of fucking moron breaks into a werewolves’ house when they’re just a weak fucking human?”

Side note, this fic made me cry, which is rare. The way the author handles every characters individual emotions is so complex and heavy, and it feels insanely real. I love me some angsty mpreg/ kidfics, and the author absolutely delivered, though not in an obnoxious, out of character way. -
