He'd left the living room and was barreling around the kitchen and the dining room, taking tight turns as his paws thudded hard against the ground, ears flapping atop his head as his tongue lolled out of his mouth. It was just so fun running around like this and once he got going there was really no stopping himself.
Except, he took one corner just a little too tightly. His side bumped into the leg of the dining room table and he was knocked over with a huff, whimpering slightly at the pain in his side from the impact. But he would very soon find out that there were bigger problems.

"Seungmin?" He heard Changbin say. "You okay, pup?"
He realized that he'd slumped against the wall more than he'd thought but when he straightened up his stomach lurched in complaint.
"Fine," he said quietly. "Can we go now?"
"Almost," Changbin said, still eyeing him suspiciously. "Do you feel okay? You look a little pale."
Seungmin swallowed harshly and opened his mouth to insist that he was fine but his stomach flipped and he clamped his mouth closed.
"Seungmin—"
And then he threw up. One second he was leaning against the wall avoiding Changbin's eye and the next he was hunched over and gagging as the contents of his stomach splattered onto the exam room floor.

Record scratch. Rewind. Seungmin gapes so hard he’s sure Minho can see all the way down his throat to his intestines. “Wait. That wasn’t a joke?”
“No?” Minho looks at him incredulously. “Why would that be a joke?”
“Because you…” Seungmin gestures wildly, letting out a slightly unhinged laugh. “You asked me on the last day of class with a muddy dandelion from the courtyard! And we spent three years at each other’s throats! What was I supposed to think?”
Kim Seungmin is a professional adult. He is mature, he has a degree, and he's starting a new job at a prestigious consulting firm.
Cue him coming face to face with Lee Minho, his personal high school migraine, for the first time in six years. Seungmin raises an eyebrow, a slight smile on his lips. “Oh, you have a dog?”
“Yes!” Minho says a little too quickly. Jisung makes a strangled sound next to him. “Uh, my dog... very cute. Small. Long brown ears. White fur.”
Seungmin’s smile grows, his eyes alight with interest. “Sounds adorable. Do you have a picture?”
