Kimiko understands wanting to numb pain. She knows what it is to long for an escape. And now, after Little Nina, she knows what it is that Frenchie’s trying to escape from.
So, for a day or two, she watches Frenchie drown himself. It feels a little like that film she watched with Annie once. The one with the boy and the girl on the boat that sinks. Kimiko is stuck on the door, floating in the black open sea, watching as Frenchie turns to ice in the water below.
OR: In the aftermath of Little Nina, Frenchie doesn't deal with things very well, and the Boys have to figure out how to save him - and the rest of the world at the same time.

Maintaining that temperature could cause heart and kidney failure, then major damage to his brain, and even-“ Chopper squeaked as he made eye contact with Zoro, who was giving him a disapproving look while he rolled the thermometer between his teeth with his tongue.
“We all know Mosshead doesn’t have the brain cells to spare getting brain damage, so what do we do?” Sanji piped up, earning a growl from Zoro across the room.
“There’s no solution quite like skin to skin contact. Hugs with as few layers as you’re comfortable with. Just like a baby bird!”
Sanji snorted, trying to reconcile the fuming swordsman with any kind of cute baby animal. Especially when Zoro looked like he was debating homicide or suicide, but it would surely be one of them.

Julian Holton is fascinated by Clint Barton. Beautiful and fast, inhuman in enough ways that one can both believe he's just a guy, and marvel in his ability. It isn't too hard to pluck Natasha and Clint from his own birthday party, then figure out just the right dose of Subdue to keep him docile. The Black Widow escapes, and since Clint doesn't roll over easy when he's alone, he's given a new friend to keep him in line. Besides, The Winter Soldier is defective now. Holton buys him on discount.
