A smooth, cold voice came from beside him. The isle had been empty just a moment ago; he hadn’t even heard any footsteps. He turned his head to meet the owner of the voice. He took an uneasy breath as they locked eyes.
The pressure was incredible, almost as if his soul was being looked through, void black eyes tinted with a crimson hue meeting his. What was stranger was that the entity before him could easily be mistaken for human if not for the inhuman gaze and large horns extending outward from his skull.
Or Agent Choi encounter's Entity Kim Soleum.

On the TV, accompanied by typical royalty-free background music, a cartoon fox explains the digital hygiene.
The little fox says:

Its neatly trimmed claw stops on the phone case.
A popsocket.
An ordinary black popsocket with a gold «X» in the middle.
The DER merch he bought at the pop-up store on the employee orientation day.
A standard issue for ninth-level employees at the Supernatural Disaster Management Bureau under the Ministry of Environment.
The little fox says—

Grace and Rocky are about three months into their trip to Erid when Grace is looking through the Hail Mary's manifest and wondering why on Earth they had packed, like, hundreds of caterpillar cocoons and one pound of bird feathers and remembers that he's a wizard.
so magic is real and so are aliens, which is about as believable as space radiation, visible light, and the theory of relativity (and, somehow, the story of mary poppins, grace's favorite documentary)
