“Do you know the hat rule, Rumi?”
An eyebrow arched high, “The hat rule?”
“The hat rule,” Zoey confirmed. There was a dramatic pause and Rumi was just about ready to whip out her phone and look it up herself before Zoey continued. “The hat rule used to just mean basic etiquette for wearing a stetson but now it basically means ‘if you wear a cowboy hat, you have to ride the cowboy. In your case, the cowgirl.”
Rumi blinked slowly, her brain not fully connecting or short-circuiting. She wasn’t sure which one, “I’m sorry…what?”
Zoey rolled her eyes and laughed.
“It means Mira just told every person in this arena to back the fuck off because you’re hers.”

Rumi rolled her eyes in playful exasperation. She slid her hand back to Mira’s waist, steadying her. Before Mira could question her, Rumi’s other hand drifted between their bodies, hovering just above Mira’s crotch.
A soft, warm light bloomed from her palm.
Mira gasped in surprise as delicate threads of light materialized out of thin air, wrapping around her hips and upper thighs. They wove themselves into a sleek, elegant harness that hugged her skin perfectly. At its center, a thick, beautifully curved toy took shape, radiating a shade brighter than Mira’s hair.
Mira shivered as the cool air brushed against her newly formed… member? She really didn’t get a moment to adjust before Rumi’s fingers were on her.
