It had taken a few years but Beat was finally back on her feet. Sure, parts of this reality sucked and she wished she was back in the world with her band, but she wasn't going to throw away the chance of finishing school with the leftover money she received when she was hit by that truck. She wanted to get her momentum going and completing her schooling felt like a straight forward big thing to go for.
Of course, she never could have expected to run into some familiar faces.
